Merivale - Melbourne Cup 2010 (Hemmesphere)

Information
The Melbourne Cup is Australia's major Thoroughbred horse race. Billed as The race that stops a nation, it is a race for three-year-olds and over, over a distance of 3,200m. It is the richest and most prestigious "two-mile" handicap in the world, and one of the richest turf races in the world. The event is held at around ten to 3 pm on the first Tuesday in November by the Victoria Racing Club, on the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne.

A campaign was conceived to showcase Merivale venues as the place to celebrate during Melbourne Cup day. The concept of "The luckiest place on earth" looked at the idea of the shoe horse being a lucky symbol. This particular piece was aim to advertise Hemmesphere.

CBD Hotel - York75

Information
York75 is a sports bar and grill with a difference. A new brand was needed to showcase a new breed to sports bar.
This unique bar doesn't compromise on comfort, with leather booths and full table, watching games of all sports on 20 screens.

Aesthetically, the brand references prestigious American sports bars. Working closely with the interior stylist, royal navy leathers, dark oak woods and regal tartan patterns were used throughout the venue. The menu references football textures through the use of leather, Japanese binding to represent lacing and cracked screen printed logo to create a varsity look and feel.

Ms. G's - Merivale

Information
Ms. G's is modern, decidingly Asian and unlike anything you've experienced before. Located on 155 Victoria Street Potts Point, this asian fusion bar and restaurant is a four level New York style noodle house and proves to be the new, hip, eat and drink hangout joint.

The quirky concept behind it all was very deliberate and tongue-in-cheek. The Asian mother welcoming you into their home is the main idea behind this eatery while naming the Asian restaurant with letters that spelled a bad rep for Chinese restaurants all through the 80s.
